A Renewed Commitment to Excellence with Exhibition World Bahrain

At Hesham Abbas for Consulting W.L.L, we take pride in long-term partnerships built on results, integrity, and transformation. Today, we are pleased to announce the launch of a new project with Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) — one of the region's leading venues for international exhibitions and events — focused on implementing two internationally recognized standards:

This announcement not only marks a new chapter in our journey together but reflects the continuity of trust and collaboration following the successful delivery of ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) and ISO 22000:2018 (Food Safety Management) just seven months ago.

A Partnership Built on Impact

Our first engagement with EWB involved comprehensive training and internal audits for quality and food safety systems. The initiative spanned several weeks of on-site workshops, cross-departmental assessments, document reviews, and tailored coaching sessions. That project culminated in EWB earning both certifications, reinforcing its leadership in operational excellence and safety for both staff and visitors. The achievement was recognized across Bahrain and the GCC, setting a new standard for what venues of such scale and importance can aspire to.

But excellence is not a destination — it's a process. And EWB has once again chosen to lead from the front.

Deepening the Scope: Why ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Matter

The focus of this new collaboration is clear: to further strengthen EWB's systems around environmental sustainability and occupational health & safety. These two areas are increasingly critical — not just from a compliance standpoint, but from a brand and operational resilience perspective.

ISO 45001 ensures that occupational health and safety risks are systematically assessed and mitigated, helping protect the well-being of employees, contractors, and visitors.

ISO 14001 helps organizations identify and control the environmental impact of their activities. For a global exhibition hub like EWB, this means managing waste, energy, carbon footprint, and sustainable procurement.

Through structured implementation, documentation, awareness training, and internal audits, we will ensure that EWB is not only compliant but also prepared to lead in sustainable event management.

Our Proven Methodology

At Hesham Abbas for Consulting, our approach is immersive and client-centered. For this project, we will deliver:

  • Gap assessments and baseline audits
  • Development of EMS and OH&S frameworks
  • Customized policy and procedure design
  • Targeted training and workshops for leadership and staff
  • Internal audit support and certification readiness

We are honored to collaborate once again with EWB's exceptional team, including professionals who have consistently demonstrated forward-thinking leadership and operational precision.

Leading by Example

In a region where event venues are rapidly evolving, EWB continues to stand as a model for others. The organization's willingness to go beyond standard benchmarks reflects a deep-seated commitment to excellence — not just for today, but for the future.

Looking Ahead

We look forward to building another success story with Exhibition World Bahrain in 2025 — one that integrates environmental consciousness and health-first thinking into the very DNA of how large-scale events are delivered.
